17" Potenza's on 6MT

I have an Anthracite/Ebony/6MT on order and was debating whether or not to upgrade from the Turanzas to the Potenzas (17"). Which Potenza model are the upgrade tires, anyone know?

There are several different Potenzas and I'd like to see the tread design before spending the extra $200. Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure they are the 030 potenzas. A great improvement over the stock tires no doubt but not what I would choose if I were buying them myself.

From the 93W rating, they wouldn't appear to be the RE750, which are rated at 94W for this size (according to TireRack). Both the RE030 and RE020 faired poorly in TireRack's user survey for Ultra High Performance summer tires. The RE750, on the other hand, was the top rated Bridgestone in this category and the third rated overall. TireRack User Survey

I ordered the HPT on my 6MT, just because I wanted it to handle better than the All seasons. Tirerack has the Potenza 030's (what Acura puts on for HPT)on their website and most in the survey don't think much of them. They are prone to a lot of noise, and wear out very quickly. ( This may be the best thing about them. Then I can get some really good tires. ) Why, oh, why couldn't they put the RE 750's on. These look like super tires.

Acura seems to be picking the dogs as far as tires go. I will be replacing my stock tires before delivery with ContiExtremes for ultra high performance all season tires.

Wish I could get some type of credit or something but that doesn't appear to be likely.
