'12 accord sedan v6 vs. '12 camaro v6 auto
So i was out with a friend in an older 350z that has a sri intake and 104,000 miles (the slower 350z until they upped the hp in 06 i believe) and a '12 camaro, we were on a long straightaway, in mexico, when the '12 camaro challenged the 350z to a race, since it was a closed off street we decided that someone wouldflag the race, so they line up and race gets flagged, and it looked like the z was gonna win at the beginning but then the camaro started pulling and by the time they crossed the designated finish line(approximately a 1/4 mile the camaro had won by 1.5-2 car lengths, then camaro pulled up and challenged me, i was down but told him you'd probably smoke me but ill race anyway so we line up race gets flagged and we're off, we launch same time and right as we hit 10 mph he started pulling ahead, and i figured the race was over for me but then about 30 i pulled back up and we were even again and my hopes were renewed, then he hit 2nd and jumped ahead by 1/4 car length outta no where, his 2nd gear must be short as hell to pull the way he did, but then as i get back into my powerband i pull on him slightly and then i hit 3rd and pulled him by about a 1/4 of a car length and we let off....my car surprised the hell out of me considering i thought i was gonna get destroyed
It may look like we tied but watch the video carefully and replay it a few times an i pull ahead

No offense, but what's a V6 8G Accord sedan auto? A 15 second flat car at best, at maybe 95 mph? If you think a couple bolt ons are going to allow you to keep up with a car that traps 110-112 mph you're in for a lot of disappointment.

Haha its not fast but c'mon i'm sure its def quicker then being a 15 second car

"Before you know it" maybe not. Is it possible, I think so. It may take more than a couple of bolt ons. I also think that it's possible for the Honda to beat the Camaro with less money put into the Accord plus the cost of it (about 30k new) than it would be to buy the same year SS, granted both cars are either 6MT or AT.

Unfortunately, they don't make a 6MT V6 Accord sedan and you can buy a 6MT SS, brand new for as low as $33,500. The V6 Accord starts just over 30k. Fantasy Island is the only place you're going to turn an automatic Accord into a 12 second/110+ mph car for less than $3500.

I was using a price for the Camaro (AT) from a modest build I priced out. Not too fancy but a lot more options than the base 33,800. I'd be curious what each car matched as close as possible option wise,(with the exception of V8 vs V6 ) would price at.
