1157 Switchback led question
So before I get started on my headlight project, I need to get LEDs.
I thought about just purchasing amber leds but I decided to go another route....
I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to remove the white leds or to just disengage them so that when the parking lights are on, they will NOT light up. But when turning, they will blink amber/off/amber/off/amber/off.
So "why don't you just get amber leds" you ask; I don't want any white lights up front when parking lights are on. So anyone who is an expert on switchbacks? I need to know how to turn off the white leds.
I've had this effect before but that's only because I've run the switchback for around 2 years so that the white leds lost power naturally. But I'm not going to wait this long

Burning Brakes
I say lose the parking wire to the front signals. I'm not 100% sure if it will blink, though. I'm guessing if you lose the wiring to the parking lights up front, the bulbs will still signal, but you will have no parking lights.
Sorry B, that's all I could think of.
Maybe another electronic Azine guru can come up with a better idea.

Brian, I might suggest you PM Buda. He is fantastic with electronics-he's helped me immensely.
I know that AutoLumination.com makes more than one type of switchback bulb. Obviously, I got the White/Amber style, but you might check and see what they have.
