105k full service, what should it consist of?
So I have talked to shop and the dealer, and everyone gives me different things. I want a full service as I just got the car, and when I do since I don't know what was done or not (car is in great condition and drives great) I want to do it all at one shot.
Let me know guys

I have seen those and read that 105k service thread but that covers the major stuff. The shops I have talked to do more than the major and general so I am trying to get a idea what a major full service would be in terms of people's experience through shops. To see if these places are over doing it to just get more money out of me or if they are going the extra mile and giving me a good deal

Once again you must not have googled douchebag, because you are acting like one again. Of course I found a bunch of answers, but suggestions not actually what peoples experiences were with different shops and what the full service shops offer besides the general service. But instead of interjecting your ass comments you can go find another thread to derail.

Here's what I plan to replacing for my 105K:
Timing Belt
Timing Belt Tensioner
Timing Belt Adjuster
Timing Belt Idler
Water Pump w/ Gasket
Drivebelt (AC/ALT)
Thermostat
Head Cover Gasket Set
Cam Seals
Crank Seal
Spark Plugs
Trans Fluid (AC Delco Synchromesh)
I've spent a lot of time shopping around, and all the parts above will cost roughly $328. I'm thinking labor will be in the neighborhood of $7-800.

Cam/crank seals and valve cover gaskets aren't a bad idea, but most here don't do them as part of the 105K service. Add to the above list a drive belt tensioner assembly as after 105K, your's might be OK, but the bearings may be at a point of failure.

Cool thanks I had not thought of the valve cover gasket... I am thinking coolant flush as well, and I am not doing the tranny as I am on the first of 3 1x3's. Also doing cabin filter.

Whenever you change a timing belt on these cars you do the water pump too... the pulleys/and tensioners are clutch as well.... the serpentine/drive belt is a must....

If the car came with one I would have, and the acura info I found online from the maual section list about 4 things, and then said suggest tranny flush and oil change.
Not as in depth as I thought it should be.

Actually after reading several threads there seems to be a bunch of similar stuff with no comments posted like this. Not to question this but your comment should be a 2 sided comment not a single sided post.

I agree, but the link he posted was a personal attack as was what I posted, and so was his next comment and was my next.

Oh, I'm not saying dynodonkey is blameless here. He did call you dumb. But your comments were the ones that were starting to up the ante. It's best to nip it in the bud before things get out of hand, don't you agree? The link he posted is a common one on this site that people post when they feel someone hasn't done their homework and it's an easy lookup. It's not a personal attack.

The coolant flush won't be extra because they have to drain the fluid when doing the water pump anyway. So as long as you provide the coolant there shouldn't be any extra charge. And don't pay extra for the "magical" Honda coolant. Regular green coolant will be fine, just don't mix Honda fluid with the standard kind. This is what my mechanic told me and he's been working on Hondas for 30+ years. He doesn't use Honda fluid for anything.

So he is assuming, again that would be a personal attack. All he had to do was ask a proper question and he would have gotten a proper answer. If he would have done that we would not be talking about this. That is why it is proper to address the op question not assume because we all know what that makes you.

I agree with the honda coolant. But I have a ton bought a case for my mother for her max because that is what she wanted, then she was rear ended and it totaled 3 months after buying it. So I have a ton and will use it. Just extra piece if mind I think.... I will be adding some royal purple anti rust into it. As well says to make the coolant run cooler...

Did you read the whole thread? Nope, must not have. Once again, people assuming things only makes them self look like a ass! If you want to derail a thread go do it elsewhere, like one of your own.
I love how some people who have been on this forum for a while defend their click buddies (seems like allot of people here were left out of clicks in school and want to be the cool crew here). You know this is a forum that was designed to share information, not bash people for trying to get information. It is here to help others out, get good information into peoples hands so they can solve their problem. Why don't you "sanquintinb" make better use of your time and help someone on a thread instead of hindering people from getting answers. People could probably utilize some of the information you have to offer, but you waste yours and others times make comments like the above.
This may be the first forum I have been on. where people who are newer are looked down on for asking questions. I belong to several forums, car, truck, electronics, and many other for my hobbies, and none of them seem to be like this. I know there are a bunch of people out here to help, and do a great job and welcome all, but those sour apples really stand out.

Thanks will add that to the list as well. I have purchased all but the valve cover gasket set, as I am trying to find the correct parts and get a couple quote on them from vendors here.

Like I mentioned, you ASSumed I did not do that. Nuff said, you are a waste of time in this thread, go derail someone elses like I mentioned to you above.

Google it yourself donkey, and find all the info you desire on it. Assume all you want, as your lack of being help full has shown it self many times in this thread. Hate to beat a dead horse but move on to another thread to derail. Or go create your own thread, and derail it as many times as you want.

It's funny that if you post on an old thread instead of creating a new one, people get mad that you're reviving an old thread. If you create a thread on something that's already been discussed everyone gets pissed this you're wasting their time, even thigh they'll spend so much time wiring comments about how you're wasting their time.
Donkey, get lost you crazy mule! If you don't like the thread quit clicking on it!

Do you have to put a disclaimer on the top of every thread to prevent, ass holes like you you and your buddy donkey to not post.
If you have a issue with the thread or what the OP is posting for or asking don't go in the post, don't post in the post, pretend it does not exist in your your crazy world.
Move on ass clowns to another thread you are not welcome here. If you have something to add that will benefit the the original post or another relevant post after, please share. A post by donkey and his buddies is not a relevant post for those that can't read.

Move on donkey, your post suck and do not pertain to the original post. Get a life, or post else where you are not welcome in this thread anymore.

Sbarbee , after all the bickering between you and Donkey... did you register the helpful post that provided you the answers to your questions? If not - double back on the thread it gives you the info you are looking for.
I have one question:
your sig says:
2010 Chevy Tahoe (Wives car)
How many wives you got?
