105,000 service light not on?
Hey,
Im due for service, im at 106k miles at the moment and i dont see my service indicator on my dash, does that mean it has been done by the previous owner? I got the car at 60k and i have no way in contacting with the other party. Is there any way of knowing it been changed?
thanks

If you drive only in the city, the codes are supposed to pop up at a different point than if the car was driven on freeways only, etc.
The timing belt service code (A4 or B4) may show up anywhere between 95K and 130K depending on the car, so it's fine to just wait for the code to show before doing the service.

110,000 here and no reminder yet. I have the parts ready to go for when it pops up. The first 70k were 90% or more freeway. The engine will have 500%+ fewer revolutions from freeway driving vs city driving. Total revolutions, time, climate, and high rpm (not high load) affect the maintenance schedule.
