I went to the 1/4 mile track last night. My car is stock except a takeda cai. It's an 07 5at and the best I could do was 15.1 @ 93 mph. I always run 93 octane from Sunoco. Is this an average time?

 

Yes. The intake won't net you any power unless the filter is outside or in direct channel of air.

 

Intake doesn't do anything for performance. Times seem right I guess. The TL is by no means a fast car especially the automatics.

 

depends on conditions, temperature, sea level, air density, etc but assuming below average conditions, 15.1 is about right. a trap of 93 is definitely on the very low side, you should be doing mid-high 90's

 

15.1 sounds about right to me for a base automatic bone stock. I would be surprised to see a base automatic with full exhaust bolt ons (no weight reduction mods) + hondata tuned hitting 14.4-14.6.

I have a 08 base auto with full exhaust bolt ons and hondata tune and it's still not quick by any means..
