08 Type-S New Owner
Hello Everybody, just bought a Kinetic Blue Type-S with taupe interior yesterday. Love the new car, its awesome. Got a good deal from the dealership i think, that was the last TLS he had.

same color combo i have....i added the oem color matched splash guards and the extra oem carbon fibre trim that goes over the seat heater switches and cup holder area....
the only downside to this color is you might as well have gotten a black car, it shows everything....i ended up buying a udm to polish the car to keep the swirl marks down to a minimum....
what did you pat otd....

Also, does anyone know if there are any new '08 6MTs left in the U.S.? I'm location indifferent at this point. I'm looking to upgrade but the various dealers on Acura's website either have "Automatic" or "N/A" for the transmission type when you search their new inventory. ??? I'm thinking if I don't get an '08 TL-S 6MT, I might just get an S5 but I'm kind of leery about Audi reliability and I don't want to "downgrade" back to "lighbulb-based tails" (I have an '05 TL 6MT w/ LED tails obviously so this is technically a "downgrade" insofar as the tails are concerned lol.).

Hey Liquid, I sat in that car about 6 weeks ago. Was this on the showroom floor at Palm Beach Acura? I didn't buy it because those pinstripes are painted on and I hate pinstriping. I ended up buying a KBP off the lot and they had 3 Type S left.

sweet ride! it's good to see another kbp on the forum. I've never seen one with pinstripes though, looks a lil out of place

i don't know if it was in the showroom or not but it was the last one they had.
Has anybody done any recall changes yet to their new cars?

That blue is by far the best color. I'm working on an Alabaster Type-S for 30k OTD. It's a company buy-back with battery problems, but the dealership says it's fixed? Should I run away?
