so me and my buddy have been debating about this alot but we never really had a full out race. We messed around a couple times and he beat me once but i got him back another time. But what i really wanan know is, who would win in a quarter mile drag? We both got Stock cars, both 3.5L V6's. The minor diffrences is that im producing more HP and the CLK has more tourqe than i do.

Who do you guys think will win in a race?

Both cars should run very identical times. He has the 7AT which keeps him right in his powerband. You have the 18HP advantage. Torque is about the same except for the CLK's 3.5L produces 258TQ at only 2800rpm where the TL-S produces that torque at 5000rpm. The CLK350 Coupe weighs in at 3585lbs which is about a wash with your TL-S.

Seems to stack up as a very good drivers race. Both cars should be in the mid 14's stock with traps in the mid-high 90's.

Now if you are a 6spd then the outcome should be in your favor.

All of those Mb's are slow, not impressive at all, except new E,S,SL,CL-550, and of course all AMG's. They think they're the shit, but they not. Everything under 600(except 550)won't even brake into 13's.

You should take him. 0-60 on the CLK350 is 6.1-6.3.

TL-S auto is 5.8-6.0

You should take him no problem. I ran a CLK500 in my 6 speed Accord stock and we were even until 3rd gear when he started pulling, ending up about 3 cars at the middle of 4th.
