You could wire them to the DRL

yeah...messing with the wiring is too much risk for me, it's not worth the risk of messing something up

are you sure its an 07-08? it could be an earlier model with an aftermarket fog install and 07-08 tails...

I always put separate switches in for HIDs or fogs.....depending on whats the person wants.....but really u cant mod anything because its tied into the computer and its being monitored at all times......you'd need about 4 diodes placed between the relay and computer (b-can and f-can.....monitoring lines.) and wiring that u add....its really not worth it.

I'm pretty sure its an 07-08 TLS cause the fogs are on the bottom, the entire car looks just like a type S would look, everywhere from the wheels, to the exhaust, the tail lights, even the badging. I saw it again this morning at it was this older lady driving it. She had her fogs and parking lights on again...I felt like rolling my window down to ask her at the stop light when our TLs where right next to each other but I didnt...I figured she probably wouldn't hear me or understand what I was talking about and then what if the light turned green, maybe she would have thought I was crazy or somthing...haha

carlos, I'm assuming she added remote start to the car...and the installer did splice to connect to the fogs directly and parking lights.... were the DRLs on?

How hard is it to move two wires, three feet? The polarity doesn't even matter. An 8 year old with a pair of wire cutters can do this in all of 5 minutes.

the hard part is not moving the wiring, but to convince the computer that everything works fine so you won't get the annoying alert displaying on the dashboard.

Nope DRLs were off. I think the DRLs come off anyway the second you turn your parking lights on right?

Maybe thats just a Honda thing then cause when I had a BMW X5 the DRL came off teh second the parking lights come on, oh and on the bimmer you could turn the switchknob to the parking lights and press the fog light button the the fogs will come on without have to have the HIDs on..didnt really ever use that tho, On the Acura I always have my HIDs on unless its really sunny, even when its really cloudy, I just love how they look on during the day or when the sun is starting to set and of course they would be on during night driving too!

What a mission....

I had an '03 TL-S and it took me 10 minutes to do this mod..Now on my '08 TL-S it seems that no one really has a simple 1 2 3 way of doing this with the fewest number of steps ??? Wow.. i wish i was a Japanese Electrical Magician

your making it sound much simpler than it is. i never said the wiring was hard to do, i just said the modding in its entirety. and i said it wasnt worth it because it isnt a major mod. its just having your fog lights on when your headlights arent.

Did i bypass, wired it to a completely different switch, check some of my post, you'll see pictures with my angles on, hid fogs on, low beams off.
