Go into the dealer asking for the RL for 35K, and you will walk out with the car for 38K; 37K if its a crappy color.

And make sure to go in on a Wednesday or Tuesday, they will be far more likely to sell you the car at that price on those days.

Just emphasize that the 09's are, and the economy is in a crisis that hasn't been witnessed in your or their lifetimes ("their" being the salespeople)

You will be verbally assaulted by them for asking for 35K, but if you play your cards right, you will get it for 37-38. Also, stay away from those high profile dealers in nice areas. The worse the area the more likely they will be to budge on the car.

Good luck!

I Agree. Are you 30 or 60 years old?

Is the RL a Acura Certified used vehicle? Is it is, doesn't it come with an extended warranty to 100k miles? Just a thought. Both cars are great but sounds like you need this car for work. If the RL better meets that need, then go for it.

If it already has 30k miles and the warranty is to 60k, you're half way there without every driving the car once.

I'd take the TL-S....it would be a lot more fun to drive. I had this issue a few years ago, I wanted to get an 04 RL (used) after driving it I ended up getting a Lexus GS400 because the RL was so boring....of coarse I am talking about the old one. I personally think the 05+ doesn't look right.. Plus being brand new with full warranty helps
