'08 Headlights on '06 TL

Would I be able to fit 08 headlights on an 06 TL? If yes how?

Maybe but the gtill on the 07-08 is bigger and for that reason i'd guess that the headlight assembly would be a slightly different shape.

No.

Physically, the head lights are the same shape and will fit.

its the wire harness thats different.
the 07-08's have fog lights inside the headlight housing.
so, the wire plugs are different.
