So I just did an oil change I put 6 quarts in and changed the oil filter because that's what someone told me to do, is that to much because I was looking on here and it said 4.5-5 qts is my car going to be okay? Lol I'm not a mechanic by any means. Thank you

Check the dipstick, you definitely overfilled.

(Flat, level, warm, etc)

I would crack the drain plug enough that some oil starts to drain out..until you think you have at least a quart. It is supposed to be 4.5 with the filter. 5 would be ok, but I wouldn't drive it with 6. The oil will foam up
