07 Type-S Seats
Hi all,
I took the type-s out for a test drive yesterday and had a question regarding the seats. I love the way they grip the driver and while I was comfortable, my gf hated the seats. Perhaps it was because we just came from testing an IS350, but she just couldn't find a comfortable position in the car.
My question is do the seats get considerably softer as they get worn in?
Thanks
P.S. the driving experience in the Type-S blows the 350 out of the water. If the 350 has more hp it sure doesn't feel like it.

I have had my TL-S for about 5 weeks now and really enjoy it. Yeah, the seats are firm but personally I would rather have a firm seat that molds around my body and supports it rather than "just a seat" like the ES350 has. I doubt if the seats will soften up. As an "older guy" like some of the younger ones like to call us, the firmness of the seats and ride really don't bother me at all.

WOW. One major problem I have is my BACK! I sat in every car I liked at the Chicago Auto show. MY 07 TL-S drivers seat is SO comfortable, I LOVE IT I liked the IS350 drivers seat ALOT. But not more then my TL-S. Many other cars like the G35 had seats I hated. If the seats are not comfortable, I don't even consider then car. I think the pass seat in the TL-S should be 10 way like the drivers, but I don't sit there, so I don't care. The seats do get a little softer, but try sitting in a real race seat.

I want to feel it, damnit! Most of the reviews were less than stellar, because of that same issue. They felt "disconnected" from the road very much... Unlike the TL, where you can really "feel" what the car is doing.
