07 Type-S Front Lip Removal

So many of you know a friend reared into my car twice and scratched up my bumper. Regardless, some sort of work will need to be done and I am going to remove the front type-s aspec lip.

My question is, for those who have an 07 base front lip or type s front lip, you guys remember the zip tie that slips through the bumper, correct? Is that zip tie removable without cutting?

If I remove the zip tie, is it re-usable?

It has to be removable right? The design of that clip looks like it can be pressed and slipped out. Has anyone tried removing their 2007 base or type s front lip?

it does appear to be removeable, but if not, just cut it off and get a new one from the dealer or just rig one up....

yea bro all u have to do is slip an electrical flathead screw driver into the notch thats holding the smaller notches down on the zip tie....it'll release as soon as u slip under it.
