07 type-s battery ?

Howdy guys ... my 07 type-s factory battery just went silent on me, after a five-day parking in the garage while I was out of town for business. I had it repaired for back bumper scratches before I left town, but that should be cosmetics only, nothing to do with electrical connection (?).

Just want to find out from you guys if similar things happened to you 07 owners ...

So your battery is dead? Buy a new battery?

I got it jumped by AAA, so it's running again, for now ... just want to get a feel how other owners of 07 models are experiencing before I make a informed decision ...

They should warranty the battery.

I have the same car as you do, and had my battery replaced while under warranty. It's free at the stealership until you hit 50k.

I've been through two stock batteries covered under warranty in my 07 TL-Type S. I decided that it wasn't worth bringing the car into the dealership anymore to have another shitty Honda battery put in my car, so I just picked a cheap one up from Advance Auto Parts. Car has been trouble free ever since.

OE batteries blow. Get an Optima or Interstate and you'll be fine.

My AAA guy was trying to sell me a battery for $130 (3-year free, another -3-year prorated warrenty) ... based on what you guys' experience, it seems like the OEM battery was really as shitty as the AAA claimed to be, all refurbished ones lol ...

I will just consider pick up one from one of the auto store then ...

Thx for the replies folks ...

Happened to me (I think) two summers ago - might've been last summer.

New OE battery under warranty. No trouble since.

So far.
