I'm new to the forum. I got a 07 TL-P and thinking of changing its DRL and foglight bulbs, so they would look more HID like.

Anyways, I was looking at some threads about changing 07 TLS foglight bulbs. Apparently, some people said our manual is wrong about the bulb size. It's H8 instead of 9006. So are the 07 TLP foglight bulbs also H8?

Can someone also confirm to me that the DRL bulb is 9005 and rear license plate is 1157 for 07 TLP?

I just want to make sure because I don't trust the manual anymore.

 

I think the TL-S and TL-P foglight bulb are different. TL-S uses H8, I think the TL-P uses H11. I might be wrong. for the DRL I believe it is 9005 for both TL-S and TL-P. You can always call the parts department and confirm.

TL-S has H-8's for fogs and 9005 for DRL's. Remember the DRL's run at half voltage so whatever you put in there will be dim.

is there any other way to check the 07 TLP foglight bulb size other than taking the bulb out? hopefully someone who owns a 07 TLP can shed some light on this.

 

sorry for sounding stupid... what does TL-P stand for? i know there's a TL and a TL-S.

 

TL-P (TL Premium) is how many people on the forum usually call the regular (non Type-S) TLs.
