I bought A 06 tl automatic, that had fire damage, but not bad. Had to replace pcm, and immobilizer. Could only find a 07. Problem I'm having now it's the 07 has 4 shift solinoid vs 3 in the 06. Any way I can still use this pcm? It a way to program the 06 firmware to it?

It's not worth the effort to try to make it work.

Just buy an actual 06 PCM from a wrecking yard listed on car-part.com or LKQ. They're around $100 + tax + shipping.

Dealer and locksmiths want 160 just to copy a key, that's not even programming the immobilizer like I would need to do.

Why would you need a new key? If you don't have a key then you're going to have to pay for that service anyway.

It's highly likely that the 07 PCM will not work even after they try to put the 06 software on it because it's not designed for that configuration. It's your time. Your money. Your choice. 🤷‍♂️
