'07 NBP TL---- installing clear lense tails---need help on bulb
Hey guys just had a question that hopefully you guys can help me with. Im about to order black trim with clear lense tails for my 07 nbp tl from uniquestyleracing.com . Only problem is that the factory turn signal bulbs are red (the actual lense of the bulb is red) and with the new clear lense tails their gonna stick out like a red lolly pop. Trying to find out where i can get a clear lense bulb that still projects a red color when lit (i want the stock red color to match my factory LED brake lights). The turn signal bulb number is 7740.
If there is some type of LED's out their that project red that would be even better. I just dont want to short my electrical system or anything by putting s*%tty LED bulbs in it.
Heres a picture of the tails to help explain what im looking for.

I have the same setup except smoked cleared tails and I use an LED bulb just like that....expensive, but it will last for the life of your car. Do not forget to buy resistors to fix the hyperflash or else check out that thread where you can fix some circuit board to prevent them

i had those same tails a while back. the bulb inside your OEM tails is actually clear, and blinks white/clear. (illegal with your new tails)...so i just bought replacement red bulbs. size is 7440/7443. check on eBay/vleds/etc. they make them clear (blinks red) and coated red (blinks red). you may need resistors as well to prevent hyper flashing.
