'07 MRP Type-S, South Florida area
CarMax of Miami Lakes has an 07 MRP Type-S for sale, if anyone wants to jump on this. It has ~32k miles, 1-owner, no accidents, and is listed for $24k, down from $25k a while ago. Remember, this is CarMax, so no negotiating.
Before I got my car, I test drive this one. It runs great, everything in the car works, and the dashboard isn't cracked. It also has a trunk tray IIRC. The cupholder will have to be replaced if you want a cover for it. The left back seat has a small tear or tear-resembling mark, presumably from something pointy and heavy being placed there at some point. But it's doesn't stand out that much and I assume it can be fixed. That's all I got. Link below.

Yes indeed, and with half the mileage :-)
Even though yes I agree that their price is a bit steep, in reality why is anyone here mad about that? It's a damn good thing that our vehicles hold as much value as they do. We should be thrilled to see dealers asking that much. I know I am
That's like someone being pissed their neighbors house is listed at $450,000 and thinking it should be $350,000 lol. Kinda is the same thing here. Most of us are TL owners already, so we should want them to cost as much as possible. As a buyer yeah it sucks haha

Good grief. I bought an 07 with 95k for $14.1 last month!! There's nothing wrong with asking high in anticipation of some negotiating room, but, .....*sheesh*

No thank you, Carmax.

Carmax starts high in general on every car or truck they sell, almost always well above book, if the car stays on the lot they start to reduce the price until they find a buyer...and if they go much lower they will find a buyer for this TLs somewhere in Murica.

Price is high bc it only has 32,000 miles! That's nothing for an FL car! I paid around the same for my 2013 Advance with 39K miles....

That's all you paid for a 2013 Advance?!? Was it in a wreck or something? I know it has high miles for the year, but still those things are still well in the 30's. That can't be a fair comparison as that price just doesn't seem right for a '13 Advance. If so I would say you somehow did extremely well on that purchase.

Yeah this is true. I'm not selling my car, but I know that if I did I could get what I wanted. It's all about having something unique along with a well put together add. I kind of consider anything I own for sale for the right price, although I will say it would be veeerrrry difficult for me to let this Type S go, even though all it does it sit in the garage (stupid Chicago weather). There are times that I feel it's pointless owning a second vehicle that is only used on occasion and that's when I get the idea in my mind about selling it. Then when I do drive it and go through the gears it's amazing!!

JTS - what is your DD if your TL-S is a garage queen?

So you still have the overland James? I though you sold it awhile back.

Hell fkng yeah!! Gotta love the amazing 3G TL resale value. My sister recently purchased a 2012 G37XS and since I helped her look for it, im blown away to see that some nice late model 3G TL Type S's are in the same price category as a G37X that is 5 years newer.

I still have people telling me how shocked they are that mine is only an 07, for both the exterior and interior. My neighbor thought it was a 2012, and a service advisor told me the interior looked like one from a 2015 car.
