Anyways, sure enough there's gonna be many G35's out there that are faster than that one, but that's not the point here, so no need to post links of modded G35's having faster times!

I was significantly faster then this g35 coupe on the parkway earlier today. we pulled in medium traffic dipping a bit but I could tell he had an automatic because the way I was taking off and slowing back down to dip between other cars had him really far behind. I would just down shift, dip and gun it while his engine took a while to recover from losing the speed it took to make certain manuvers.

Oh, I also ran into a nissan z/ g35 coupe click last week. They were in this local parking lot, about 7 or 8 or so cars all modded and I just pulled up and was like,"nice cars can I be down"? They were like, "do you have a z or a g?" I said no, they replied,"Then what you should do is trade in your tl and get a z or a g" I laughed. This other guy leaned into my car and said,"Oh shit you have manual?" ok I have respect for your car, but up top you may not be able to keep up with us. I said trust me I'd do just fine, I got out and we all talked for a bit and the main guy was like you can come hang out whenever man we'll be here thursdays at 8. Now I just need another buddy with a sick ass modded out TL to come there with me next time so we'll really have something to talk about. lol

the Z-pipe/tube is simply a non-resonated intake pipe that goes between the MAF and throttle body. It adds a whopping 1/2hp, but it does add a bit more induction noise which the G35 sorely needs. My race set up is a 1/4 tank of fuel and the floor mat removed for safety. My G35, like most other G35s, has pretty decent topend seeing that the car tends to see 21.5-22.5mph in the last 1/8 mile where as most cars see around 18-19mph.

As we can see, stock and slightly modded G35s and TLs are just pretty much as fast as each other.
