so i was on my way home from getting my eyebrows waxed..lol and i see a car come up on my bumper..the light turns green i let him get on the side of me so i can see what it is.And it was a silver mazda Rx8.So he gets on the side of me and slows down i beep the horn 3 times and we go from about a 30mph roll he punches it and i punch it and i take about a 2 car lead on him..So we come up to another light and it was red and i figured hed get on the side so we can go from the light instead he gets behind me..


The lights turns green i punch it so does he and again i take about 2 to 3 car lead on him so i see hes just not keeping up so i slow down to wait for him and instead he does a fly by so i just let him go considering he just didnt wanna get owned again..lol..

kinda what i expected. the rx8 is a car for the twisties, not really straight line. good kill though!

ps...the manual comes with more horsepower then the auto, do you know which one you might have raced?

im not to sure which one i raced i didnt get a chance to like stop and talk to the kid but from what i read online about the RX-8 the new 09 Models are the ones where the manual is 238 horsepower and the automatic is 212hp i think thats new for 09 cuz for the 05 models it said came with only the set 232 hp but i could be wrong i only know my acuras and hondas..it might have been the the 09 one but i dont think it was..ttyl hun be safe

If it was an 05 auto then it only got 197hp stock and 4AT. My friend has one, I have driven one, I raced it in my TL, there's no comparison. I even let him go first before I punch it, and I can still pull away easily.

I haven't run my 07 AV6 vs my best friend's 04 RX8 6MT but, I doubt I can take. I KNOW I can lay a serious hurtin' any AT version. Good kill.

Honestly i dont know which year it was but i wish i got to pull over and talk to him but i dont think he was having that considering he got beat by a chick..lol.it was silver with dark tint with the dual pipes and the wing spoiler thats about all i know..ttyl guys be safe

actually it doesn't matter which year it is, if it's AT, you will smoke it. The newer AT car has 6AT and 212hp (or was it 222?)

Nice kill! Love to see the 5AT AV6's doing work! They don't get enough respect for what they are. I know I have showed up alot of people that were not expecting a beat down. People also forget how well the 7th gens respond to mods. With I/E these cars open up like no other! Much faster than stock. I got a chance to race my friend in his stock 03 AV6 5at and he was back by quite a few cars by 100MPH.

I don't know, but this girl at my school has a Silver RX-8 GT and its an automatic. They are both hot, so it doesn't matter.
