They are about $50 for the part. They mount with nut, so you'll have to take the headliner out inside the car, plus drill a hole in the roof.

I wouldn't bother with it.

He should already have that, it was standard on TLs through 08. I think he's looking for the sharkfin that's on the 09. That antenna actually doesn't go with his tails, but it's his car. He'll have to call and see if the 09 will replace the 04-08 one-for-one.

I believe the Canadian TL's did not have the roof-mounted antenna, unless the car had Navi (correct me if I'm wrong)...

Hey Jay did you ever hook up that antenna? How did it turn out. Is drilling into the roof all that difficult after all? Post some pics.

Speaking of antennae, does the 4G TL antenna fit the 3G TL?

If you just want it for the look why go through removing the the headliner and drilling a hole in your roof. its not like you are going to run wires inside the car. Just use 3M double sided tape. If a spoiler can be mounted with that i am sure this little antenna will survive. just my

Just fyi, headliner does NOT need to be removed to r&r the roof antenna. Just remove the rear upper brake light and rear maplights and you can access it perfectly fine with an open ended wrench. Been there done it when adding the 07+ navi and had to swap roof antennas....

No you don't. People always make it sound like it's a lot of trouble, time and money to do it but it's nothing compared to installing the factory Nav system. That took alot of time and money and patience. Drilling a hole is what 5-10 minutes.
