Hey guy, quick question for you... Will a 07-08 base aspec lip for the rear bumper fit on a 08 base TL without any modification or cutting of the bumper? I really want the aspec kit for my TL but don't really want to cut the bumper at all

You probably know this already but the A-spec kits are harder and harder to come by and many of the colors are discontinued.

Yeah! I check heeltoeauto and endlessrpm every couple days and they finally got the side and rear kits in pmm but cannot find the front aspec lip in pmm for the life of me. I'll just have to buy it in a different color and get it repainted

Not sure if you've heard of scratch wizard but I've heard good things, would be fairly easy to order an unpainted lip (found one online for $130 CAD) and paint it yourself. Buy some high quality clear coat and primer, and one can of code matched spray paint from here: https://scratchwizard.net/bumper_sea...cura/model/TL/

Lightly sand the lip with fine sand paper (800 or 1000 grit), put down a couple thin coats of primer (wait for it to dry between coats), then put down 3-4 coats of paint, followed by 2-3 coats of clear coat and voila, the results are actually pretty great. Can be done in an afternoon, will be nearly identical to your original paint and could save you some $$ at the paint shop. This is what I plan to do in the spring for my front and rear A-Spec lips, but I wouldn't recommend it for any larger pieces such as side skirts or body panels. Just a FYI
