The TL is light years ahead features and luxury wise.
The GTO will absolutely blow the doors off the TL in straight line performance.
Facts are that the GTO is a muscle car with mediocre build and hardcore speed.
The TL is a decent luxury car with luxury features and amenities.

Dude, you have been comparing one car that has a 6.0 v8 to a car with a 3.2 v6!! Of course the v-8 is going to have more power! It better! It should be a bigger difference in horsepower then it is though! Name one V-6 that GM makes that could hang with the 3.2!! Thats right-----You cant, so shut up!! The interior on the TL is far superior to the GTO!!

thats already been covered. I checked out their thread and I find it very fascinating they started banning people right off the bat. GM folks are somewhat sensitive...

When I looked at GTOs in early 2005, a couple of months before getting the TL, the left-over 350 hp 2004 GTOs were being advertised at $24000 or so. GTO is a BIG 2-door with seats in which I could not get comfortable and which had few amenities compared to the TL, so I did not even drive it despite salespeople begging me to do so. The 400-hp 2005 GTOs should probably be marked down to $26,000 by January 2006 (less than a V-6 Accord), so you could save $7,000 by buying a GTO instead of a TL, if that is any consideration.
