06 TL A-SPEC Pricing Need Help Please!

Hello,

I am in the market for a 06 TL 100% A-SPEC package - could you tell me what's a good price to pay for this package?

Thanks for your help.

Are you going to install the kit or have a dealer do it?

Parts prices from hondacurwaorld.com:

- Suspension and wheels and yoko's (remember, you need 2006 wheels with TPMS): approximately $3K
- Body kit $ 757
- Steering wheel $320

Add on:
-Decklid spoiler or wing: $300-340
- Comptech 22mm Rear Sway Bar and greasable mounts $120 (Do this!)

Expect at $2K in install labor from a dealer. it's aweekend job doing the work if you're handy

I hope you have a MT, adding the Brembo brakes up front will cost you your first born, but is technically part of the package.

Good luck

What dealership did you go to? I just dropped off my car this morning and I got a great deal on my kit. I spoke with the service manager and mentioned the great prices from hondaacuraworld. They ended up matching the prices.

I'm in the L.A. area.

Tustin Acura dealer through their internet department. How much did they quote you on A-SPEC package?

PM me if you want the service manager's number.

Can you list the parts included with that install? Body kit, spoiler, steering wheel, suspension (and not rims)? Just wanted to clarify.

A-Spec Suspension
Brakes
Full A-Spec Body Kit
A-Spec Emblem

I was gonna be another 400 for the rear wing but I decided to get it after all.

I have all of the A-Spec parts already but have not done the rear sway bar from Comptech. Does it make a big difference?

You better check your parts list again... The dealer price on Brembo's is over $1700... No way you're getting Brembo's at that price.

A full dealer a-spec package includes 3 things now:

1. The shocks/springs that are stiffer
2. The body kit which includes nose spoiler, side skirts, and rear air dam piece
3. 18" a-spec rims in one of 3 finishes (you get to pick) and Yokohama Tires
4. oh..also I forgot the "Scorched" a-spec brake pads..that what he means by "brakes" they just put on upgraded pads. Not the full Brembo kit..that's on the AT TLs only.

You can buy any one of these 3 aftermarket / separately, or ask your dealer for all 3. Other popular options include:
1. Shocks online cost me $625
2. Body kit cost me $752
3. can get rims /tires online
(this is not including labor to install, just the parts)

There's an Acura a-spec steering wheel (not included in the kit)
The trunk lid lip spoiler or rear wing spoiler on the trunk (also not included in a-spec kit)
The aftermarket Comptech Rear Sway Bar (better handling even w/a-spec kit)
Some order just the rims and go to different tires if you piece it out, there are better choices than the Yokos some feel. I have #1 and #2 on the car now (and the CT RSB).

I can tell you that I put on the Comptech Rear Sway bar and upgraded Energy Susp Bushings (part of the CT RSB) 2 weeks before I did the a-spec suspension, HUGE upgrade in the car woth every $$!! The CT RSB was like $100 and the bushings were about $15, easy installation took me 30 minutes, if a dealer installed it or someone else would be 1/2 hour labor - 1 at most.

Is $35,450 for a 100% A-SPEC package? If so, it's a good deal.
