'06 clutch slave cylinder
I need to replace the clutch slave cylinder. I was wondering if there was a preferred brand or just stick with oem?
and if someone has the part number handy that would great.

thanks. so should i replace master also since i am going to be down there. I definitely have a slave or master cylinder problem. it would be cheaper for me to just change both than to take it to have 1 or the other replaced at a shop.

Depending on the problem, either one can be replaced, but to be certain, changing both is a good idea. In fact, the local garage replaces the master and slave anytime they replace a clutch assembly, maybe overkill.
Now the price on the OEM master is considerably higher than aftermarket units. The OEM is @ $106 while aftermarket units can be had for as little as $33 (RockAuto). Your pick.
