I believe is "OK" is because this has been discussed numerous time in the CAR TALK thread and its all boils down to the same thing. TL has a better interior NA V6 and the 335i is a faster car with turbo but hella expensive.
I would love to drive yet alone have one so I can be

I drove a 328i sport and felt like I was in a Go-Kart. The steering wheel was too small. The suspension was too tight. The acceleration was weak and the engine was noisey. The interior sucked big donkey b*lls. I suppse the 335i is in a different class but I'd still feel like I am in a Go-Kart, albeit one fast Go-Kart

C63 is like that old 50 cent song... G-A-N-G-S-T-A .....
those above youtube clips are the EXACT reason, why i will never ever ever buy a used car....
but yea, if you chip a 335i.... couple extra mods.. that thing will run low 12's.... its the fastest in its class (TL-S, C350, G37, IS350)

More power is easily optainable with the 335i if that's what one is looking for. Hard to compete with a RWD when the power is raised.
He's a chipped 335i.

Actually the best kept secret in my opinion is the new Cadillac CTS-V with a stock 3.9 sec 0-60 mph time for around $55000. It will blow away the Mercedes, BMW's etc:
As it's only a small outlay for additonal power, you can see 11.85 @ 121.79 mph 1/4 mile times with and automatic and a Hennessy upgrade:

yup i agree with you

what an ahole doing that to the car even if it is a loaner. People suck. I bought my used TL Type S from an older lady with only 10k miles on it. I am glad I checked to make sure a dipshit boy racer didn't drive the car prior.

Don't get me wrong - I definitely do not have a problem if there are cars out there faster than mine. Just wanted to share this with you guys though, because stock vs. stock, the CTS-V isn't really "blowing away" Mercedes and BMW. It is faster, but not to the point where the cars are miles apart.
It's the fastest production sedan in the world. It's with some pretty good company considering the car weighs about 4200 lbs. Take a look at all the specs and compare lap times at Nuremberg:
7:59 Porsche 997 Carrera S,
7:59 Chevrolet C6 Z51
7:59 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R
7:59 Cadillac CTS-V
8:06 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG

Just wanted to add that the Cadillac CTS-V was an out of the box, factory Caddy that wasn't tweaked, unlike a factory Mercedes that needs an aftermarket company to do the refinements. Sorry, couldn't resist!!!

Actually, Mercedes AMG is a wholly owned unit within Daimler Benz.

Just sold the TL this week. Only took me three weeks on autotrader, I was thinking maybe three months in this market. Kinda sad when they buyer drove the car away.
No more rattles or tire squealing. Gas mileage is about 22, I was getting 24 on the TL. Interior is slightly smaller but I'm getting used to it. Despite the sport package, my friend said it's a lot smoother than my TL. Even smoother than her G35 non-sport. Personally, I felt the ride is choppy over uneven freeway surfaces. Acceleration is almost like the Corvette, without all the fancy footwork. Just step on the pedal and hold on. Auto transmission way better than the TL. Handling is night and day. Stereo is better but no useable cupholder. Also less storage bin compared to the TL. Back seat slightly smaller but I rarely use it. Overall, I love my 335i sedan.
Still miss the TL though.
