Talking 05 tl vs 02 is300

Well my buddie in the lexus and i pulled up side by side after leaving a burger joint. Both cars are standard. I was in 2nd gear at about 3000k he left first so i jumped on it. By the time i shifted into 3rd i was about 3 cars ahead. 1st time i really got to race and was happy with the results. Both cars are stock and he can probably drive standard better than i can.

Good kill, the results are what I would expect! If you would have gotten a good launch maybe even more than 3 cars.!

yeah i left after him so he was already about a car ahead when i punched it. I shamed him pretty good though. Unfortunately he is the type of guy that can let that loss stand and will probably buy a new faster car now.

Nice kill. From a dig the 5MT IS300 does pretty well with its RWD setup but peters out in the top end. Good low-mid range with that I-6 engine. From a roll it struggles.

My buddy just trade his IS300 in for the new RX350, family now. He would sell me for way cheaper than dealer gave him (less than $10K) but can't get an extra car while my wife still in school. BTW his car is a sleeper.

If your friend ever want to get new faster car, tell him to keep that 2JZ and boost it. The IS300 I mentioned to alexSU is 380rwhp @ 12psi on pump gas.
