I have ordered a replacement power steering pump, and once received, will proceed to remove the old one. A question I have, but have been unable to determine elsewhere, is the direction to turn the pulley nut to remove the pulley from the old power steering pump in order to install on the new (reman) part. Can someone positively tell me the direction to turn the nut to loosen?

Counter clockwise to loosen any bolt/nut (unless it's left handed thread), turn to toward the firewall.

 

If you can see top of the nut/bolt, always lefty loosy righty tighty

 

where did u buy the pump from cos i'm looking for one too (website if u ordered from there) is it a cardone?

Is the pulley nut removed easily?
Without the belt on?
I removed the entire unit.

 

How do you loosen the crank shaft!?!?!
