I heard the 05 TL's will be arriving sometime in October. If you are thinking of buying 04 you should do it now. I heard you can get $2000-2500 off msrp. Plus if you are planning to finance the car they have a low rate of 4.8% financing compare to 6.4% for the past 8months. My buddy just bought one 2weeks ago b/c he fell in love w/mine. He got $2500 off msrp. I only got $1500 off msrp but I bought mine early this yr tho. Goodluck dude!!

$2500 is awesome. The salesman's best deal was $1,200 off, $44,500 out the door for a Dyn Pkg 04.

Hey there...buy the 04 now as the new 05 TLs are going to be more expensive...thus putting greater demand on the remaining 04s out there...good luck with your purchase...we'ver had ours for 5 months now and have 10K on it.....no issues

hey man, whats up with that??? He was just asking and getting opinions about buying a O4. It doesn't need to get personal and if you can't constructively contribute to the post then DON'T. I really wonder who is the "sad" one.......

Hey heehaaw, I am just trying to keep the discussion clean, now, ask yourself this and honestly, are your comments actually helping anyone? What is the point of your comments? Tell the guy to get a job...a little off topic he just wanted to ask about a 05TL. To put him down because he is comes from a well off family? I think we should respect each others posts and not get personal. This is a forum to help each other not to put each other down. I am just being reasonable, that all I am gonna say and I will not take this any furthur because its pointless if some people are just disrespectful and not will to share. And of course people can post want they want and I understand that and respect that.

i had a terrible childhood because my rich daddy didnt buy me a $50,000 car? youre a fucking retard. there is no correlation between having a good childhood and having a $50,000 car purchased for you. i wont waste another minute commenting on that stupid remark because its useless.

If his parents want to get him a car, that's their business.
I don't see what's the big deal?
My parents gave me $3000 for my first car. This one I'm buying on my own, but if I didn't have that first car, I wouldn't be where I am today.
My university was damn near impossible to get to by bus!

Hey Big,

I been dealing with Burrard Acura mostly. Actually I'm in same boat as you. Can't decide between the TSX and TL.

What kinda options you looking at?

Btw, in the TSX forum some dude claimed he got $3200 off MSRP from Ralph at Burrad Acura. I haven't confirm this with Ralph yet.

I'm overseas right now and won't be back till Oct. 15

Hope there's some good colours left when I get back.

yeah I talked to ralph he offerred 33500, but i went to richmond a week later and got 32,550 for the tsx. I scheduled a test drive there and he wasnt really prepared when my dad and I was there. After the test drive he didnt really want to negotiate much.

I also think mabe that ralph is the same guy who posted 3200 off MSRP because that person only posted around 8 msg's and that claim would bring in more people.

Hmm, could be.

I test drove both already. The TSX is more fun to drive around. The TL offers a more smooth and comfortable ride. My wife found the TSX easier to drive since it's a bit smaller.

Let me know what kind of price you end up getting at Richmond.

I drove the TSX and TL and I must say they are both great machines. But TL hands down no doubt about it. For another $6000 you get so much more for your car. Since you are spending that kind of money why not spend a bit more. I love the way the TSX handles but with a V6 270hp engine I fell in love with the TL. IMO I would no doubt buy the TL and wouldn't even have to think about the TSX. My buddy was going to buy the TSX but I let him drive my car twice and he loved it. Now he just bought one not long ago. Which ever car you buy will be an excellent choice but the TL is so much more car than the TSX. But you should buy very soon to take advantage of the clearouts. Otherwise you might not find the color you like.

I agree with ed99. We drove both before we decided and the choice was obvious. The TL is by far the superior car. If you can swing the 6K you won't be sorry.

Move up to the TL if you can, unless you fall into the "I need a fun car with 4 doors" then the TSX will give you just that.

Wow the whole thing on Visa? that's pretty sweet. My dealer would only take a maximum of $5k from Visa.

Holy cow. You were able to put everything on your Visa?? Which dealership did you go to? West Side or Southview?

I 'm planning on buying an 04 TL but the max amount West Side would allow is 2Gs

see this is where you have to work with them, you can either tell them you pay the visa trasaction fee or work it into the total price, as long as they have a room to have some money, they will do it.

btw, the 2 or 5g you were talking about is the deposit. thats the max amount they can put on visa for deposit, buying the car with visa is a different story.
