I like it but 70k for this price might be too high and my parents think I should just new accord and pay a little more. Anyone know how much a new accord runs for?

Meh new accord...I would rather have a TL with 150k miles than a new Accord. TL is a TL, Accord is an Accord. Plus I like 7th gen Accords better than 8th gen. Anyways 6 speed and Nav is a sick combo, I say get the TL.

A little more? Depends on the model of the Accord:
LX manual $20905
EX-L V-6 with Nav $30905

So if you want a stripped down new Accord, yes, one can be had for a few thousand more than the TL, but that's like comparing apples to oranges.

That is a great combo I should know 15K for 70K miles is a bit high but if it is in great condition and taken care of then I'd say do it.

Try and haggle for 14K

Not sure what your local market for cars is, but KBB lists that car in "good" condition at $15150, so $15K seems like a fair price.

I was thinking the same thing a few months ago. Should I buy a CPO TL, or a new Accord? After looking at them both on price (Including insurance premiums, depending where you are and your age) I wasn't sure what would be better. I got a great deal on monthly payments on an 05 TL, with 42K miles, for MUCH less than what a new Accord would be, but insurance would be roughly the same (both financed). Then you have to compare looks and beauty of the car. Yea the new Accord looks better then previous years, but can you honestly compare it to the looks of a 3rd gen TL? I doubt it, but if you can, go with the Accord. IMO, I couldn't be happier with my new 05 TL! It's up to you though...

KBB is irrelevant, especially in our economy now.

My friend and I were in the same situation as the OP; I opted for the TL, my friend chose the Accord. I have navi, he doesn't. I have 6 cylinders, he has 4. He has hub caps, I have fresh, uncurbed stockies . Granted, he loves his car and I love mine, but you see where I'm going?

Edit: Oh and to answer the OP's question, yes 15k is too much for a 70k mile car, but that's only their asking price and you could probably drive it down to 15k OTD, but keep searching for other TL's, it gives you leverage when you buy.

Just make sure that the car is in good condition...good leather, tires, brakes, transmission fluid, etc...

The price is good. I bought an 05 with 58 thousand for 15,500 in January. Good luck!
