I have a 2005 Manual TL with about 95000 miles on it. Recently, shifting smoothly, (without bouncing the car/engine) had become much more difficult. If I let got on/off the accelerator quickly it would feel like engine/transmission was bouncing or moving. If I let out the clutch quickly in reverse I get almost a clunk/thud. There was also some more vibration inside the car that was noticeable.

I replaced the front and side engine mounts, knowing that these were most likely to be bad first. The side mount was completely torn in half, front mount was not damaged but the rubber was clearly aged.

Car is better now, but still has some of these symptoms. I am wondering if any other mounts can have effect on this? Upper transmission, lower transmission, rear mount, bad engine damper?

OP, you need to inspect mounts! don't guess! physically check if the mounts are broken!!
