so I just bought my first car, an 05 Acura Tl, im new to all this and a friend of mine told me that this site would help me out with lowering my car, i just have no idea how to do it, what to get or what like I'm lost so if anyone could help me and fill me in on something I don't know ide highly appreciate it!

You could go with a spring and shock combo that might be more comfortable by nature. They are not as structurally rigid, but if you plan on going with wider wheels down the road or want adjustability you should stick with a coilover setup.
