04 tl w/59000
Hi -
I bought the TL because it was absolutely the finest looking new car in 04 and Acura has always been so highly touted by owners. I have to say that although it still makes me look twice when I see one, the problems have been far more than I would have expected in view of the high praise and reputation. So far I have had the trans recall issue (but now I have another trans problem), the drivers headlight assembly leaked and had to be replaced, the power steering pump went, the wiper motor burned out, two bateries went, sidde fender mnarker lights went, heated seat led's both went, and now the most nagging problem is the power window on the passenger side which goes up, stops and reverses to the half open position. This is probably some type of limit switch matter but the weird thing is that if I touch the window glass as it is going up, it closes as it should. I don't have to apply any pressure, just touch it as it is going up and it will work. Anyone with a fix for this would be greatly appreciated.
