Not to digress further but, I would get PS3 just for the versatility of having the game system and BluRay capability alone. Most standalone BluRays cost $400, making the PS3 the obvious choice for most folks.

yeaaa, definitely. And the quality is better than many actual blue-ray players, or at least that's what most reviews say. Too bad I don't have a HDTV in my room..and I also don't have a 7.1 sound system.....
