I couldn't find a definitive answer via search...can anyone tell me if I can get my 04 TL A-Spec front spoiler exchanged for an 04 base model or 08 TL-S model? Will it fit without trouble?

My problem with my 04 A-Spec spoiler is that it's so low that the air dam hangs up on parking bumpers, etc. so easily. Whenever it happens it makes my stomach turn. I'm certain one of these days it will rip the A-spec spoiler off.

What have some of the other 04 A-Spec owners done about this?

I'm reading through your question a few times still trying to understand what you are asking as you stated it in an odd manner. Are you stating that you have a 2004 with just the front lip spoiler and you want either the TL-S A-spec lip installed on it? The first part of your inquiry asking if you can switch the front spoiler for a base model doesn't really make sense as it is as simple as taking the front lip spoiler off.

 

easy way to solve this problem.. dont even go close to those parking bumpers.. i park at least 2 inches away from them .. i dont care if i stick out a few inches.. people who have lowered cars usually cant even make it over those bumps..
