I think your ignitors or ballast might be going

I know you hate working on the lights but try swapping the ignitors only. If the problem still stays on passenger side light then it might be your ballast, if it starts doing the same on driver side rather than you have a bad ignitor.

How much is the ignitor and how do you install it? Is there just one ignitor on the car?

also, the fog light on the same side isn't coming on now either. The blinker and running light still works. Could it be a bad fuse, or is it definitely the ignitor or ballast?

I can't believe all I wanted was better light output and now it looks like I'll have to spend about $300 just to have working bulbs. I should have left it the way it was.. it if ain't broke, don't fix it I guess. Fuck my life.

My a/c just went out too. Been a fun week!

I'd start trouble shooting before investing in new parts.

Taking the bumper and headlights off is not that much of work. It takes 30~45 mins.

Here is a thread with video on how to take the bumper off.

Here are scans on how to remove the headlights.

Invest a weekend to take the headlights off and take off all the HID components.

Test the ballasts using a battery pack and input plug. You can pick up an input plug from ebay for $12 or so.

If the ballasts/ignitors work then your issue is with electricity going to the lights, check all the relays and fuses.
