'04 TL Headlight Issues

Does anyone know of a good low cost aftermarket replacement for the 04 HIDs with ballast, ignitor, and bulbs?

Also, my daytime driving lights are out. My left has been out for roughly a month and the right went out this past week. I replaced the bulbs but still nothing. Aside from fuses, what should I check next to diagnose?

Thanks!

the retrofit source has a plug and play morimoto kit with everything, ive been running it on my 07 for a few months now and no complaints.

... i just checked for a link for you but apparently they dont have it anymore. they still have the bulbs/ballasts/igniters since that stuff is basicalyl universal, but they used to have honda/acura plug n play adapters so you would plug it directly into the stock plug on the harness, and that part i dont see anymore. maybe you can call/email them about it

they do have oem replacement ballasts too, not sure if they have the ones for the tl... i think its the mitsubishi's though

I bought that kit from RetroFit. The ballast was not an exact fit replacement so I sent it back. Turned out it was the igniter and did end up getting that and bulbs from RetroFit. They were easy to business with.

When you say the ballast wasn't an exact fit do you mean dimensionally or is it not electronically compatible? Thanks.

So I called The Retrofit Source and they confirmed that this is the correct kit for a 2004 TL:

https://www.theretrofitsource.com/matsushita-mitsubishi-hid-repair-kit.html?preselect=49455%2C51988%2C50305

Does anyone know which bulbs or ballast adaptors I should choose?

thanks!

👌🏽Thank you kindly.
The guy's said that the ballast needs to mount to the back of the headlight since it won't fit under. Do you have advise on mourning or pictures?
