That was available a few years ago, and is no longer made (I think some people had problems with them). eBay sells a module, but it means the lights are on 100% of the time with the engine on (night or day).

I wanted DRLs as well, so what I had done was adding the 03-05 Accord foglights to the lower grille area, then I had the existing foglights (factory) wired to a separate switch- now my DRLs are controllable from the dash (I unfortunately can't tell you how to wire them as AckTL05 did my wiring in NJ. For the best effect, I used the foglight switch from Honda for the dash, and it looks factory. You can see how it all came together as in this link:

There's instructions on wiring the switch on one of the Honda forums (because the harness of the Accord fogs doesn't match the factory switch, so some modification was needed, but it was pretty straightforward, and I'm no wiring pro, so pretty easy).

You can add the Accord fogs, or just keep it as is, and use the existing fogs as either DRLs or as foglights (I like the look with the lower lights, as the fogs from the factory when on look like the highbeams are on)

I did a quick Google search, and came up with this:

if you want something that looks pretty easy to install.

The DesignTech module WAS the way to go.

I tried calling AutoBarn for someone else who also wanted one. They told me people still call them about it all the time wanting to purchase it, so they referred me to the importer in Kansas. Upon calling THEM, I learned they didn't even know why their management stopped bringing them in. The only guess I can make is that they must have had a large defect rate.

Fortunately, mine's worked perfectly from the moment it was installed, knock on wood. And because I also have chrome like strips across the middle of the 2 lower front grills, some people think I'm an '07/8 at 1st glance.

One added bonus was that Geico gave me a $25 a year discount in my insurance premiums for having DRL's.

Good luck finding an alternative that will also light up the fogs (rather than the headlights) at 75% brightness.

so what do people do now when they do the 07-08 front end conversion? I imagine that the fog light plugs will need to be extended for the lower bumper fogs
