Yep, another analysis from my buddy's 04 TL.
2004 Acura TL
3.2L SOHC V6
5 months on the oil
Amsoil XL-7500 5w-20 API SL
Purolator PureOne Oil Filter
4 oz of LubeControl added at initial fill, 2 oz after 3800 miles, 2oz after another 1700, and 2 oz after another 1800 miles.
Fuel Power used at 1 oz to 5 gallons at every other fill-up
Blackstone Analysis with Dyson Interpretation
Al 2
Cr 0
Fe 7
Cu 20
Pb 1
Sn 3
Mo 1
Ni 0
Mn 1
Ag 0
Ti 0
K 3
B 1
Si 15
Na 3
Ca 2196
Mg 17
P 599
Zn 734
Ba 0
Vis- 52.9
Flash-365F
Fuel- <0.5
Antifreeze- 0
Water- 0
Insolubles- 0.3%
Everything looks good except for the flashpoint. Oil thinned slightly but its probably due to the longer interval. Si is high but I'm unsure of the reason...air filter was replaced back at 20K (IIRC) and may need some time before it starts filtering properly. The flashpoint problem must be dealt with as it is preventing the oil from being used longer. (Note: Flashpoint was 410F at the last analysis) Good thing the owner chose Dyson Analysis to interpret this data so that the low flashpoint problem can be resolved.

How many total miles on the vehicle?
I should have the results of my next Blackstone UOA next week. I'll send them to you so that I can get a Wan Analysis.

Chuck,
Send it off to Dyson Analysis please.
I honestly don't know how to resolve the low flashpoint...I'm still suspecting that its fuel dilution. If the sample hasn't been processed yet, give Blackstone a call and have 'em add Dyson Analysis to the list.
The person just got the sample back yesterday...haven't heard from Terry yet...will probably hear from him early next week.
DEG, don't have the report in front of me right now but IIRC it was about 24,000 miles.
