Cool 04 TL 6MT fluids help

Hey, going to do transmission fluid change on my 04 TL 6MT since its at 160k now, curious on what fluid would be best to last a good while? and keep everything in tip top condition in there, also will i be needing any new crush washers and drain bolt?

thanks!

The consensus is ACDelco Synchromesh Friction Modified. Search this site, 99% of the 6MT drivers, myself included, will tell you this is the MTF to use.

Here is the Amazon link: https://smile.amazon.com/ACDelco-10-...8FK/ref=sr_1_3

Buying the 2-pack will save a few dollars per quart; for that reason I bought six quarts last time around.

On a whim I looked at RockAuto for the MTF; it wasn't easy to find but the price is REALLY good at $11.27 per quart.

Awesome man thank you, defiantly get it from rock auto then since its a good bit cheaper and i dont mind paying delivery, guess ill get 4 quarts just one for spare and hope for the best, i know there was cheap auto transmission fluid in a bottle in the rear of my TL when i bought it and i have no idea why, previous owner never said if he used it or not, and i never noticed a leak so hopefully all is well.. thanks!!
