has anyone done this on a 2004. I brought mine to a body shop and the guy said that everything works, but the turn signals when he connected them. . .even in the driver side. Is this correct? if anyone has done this on a 04 your response would be greatly appreciated! I want to know if I have to tap into the front or back signals on both sides or if something is wrong with the mirror itself which is why it isn't working on the drivers side.

i know it has been done, but do I have to splice the pink/black wire on both sides or just the passenger side? I know everyone said the 06 the driver side was plug and play so wanted to see how people had it done who did it on a 04. . .

does anyone know how to get switchbacks in the mirrors so they stay on white the whole time, then when you signal it blinks amber?! I would love this!!

I think what he meant by plug and play is that they fit right in. The wiring may be mostly the same but probably won't have the turn signals in the connectors if the connectors do indeed match up.

I changed my amber LED's to white and it took a few hours to do them. I believe I am still the only person on here that has done that. Maybe one 4G person, but I havent seen anyone with a 3G do it other than me. I may be mistaken, since I have not been on here in a while.

thanks guys! i have the body shop actually doing this now for me. he just opened up the mirrors because he has to paint them ABP. He's not a guy who's really big into wiring things, he's pretty anal about his work and said just to wire these and leave the signals alone because it could potentially cause issues later down the road. He's been my body shop guy for years, so figure I take his word for it and just leave them amber
