04 motor and tranny
There is a motor and tranny on ebay right now item 160514403533. Only 40k on them I don't need either but thinking about buying it for later kind of an investment you could say. My question is how long can they sit in a garage with no damage.

They can sit around just fine, it would probably need some work to get it serviceable before you install it, the seals and gaskets will go bad if it sits forever. Especially if youre near the humid coast down there. Id pass on it though theres no way to tell how many miles are on it but Im sure its way more than 40K
Are you still thinking about selling your car? If so I might be interested in some of your parts like the A-spec kit... Im in NC now but Im from Hilton Head so I travel down there every once in a while.

I would pass. motor doesnt look that great. There are better deals to be had. I had been staring at this TL-S with 27k on it plus tranny/wiring harness/Throttle body/AC comp for 2k (very local to me as well) for 2k. Im sure he still has it. Just tired of it not selling after re-listing numerous times.
Also I think you can do better on the S/C. I forget who it was, but someone was selling a fully complete kit (plugs and more as well) for under 3k. Think he eventually closed it due to lack of interest at a ridiculously low price
