'04 Fog lights
Hey guys, I have a few questions about the fog lights on our 3Gs. I never use the fog lights, they don't really do much for me and I think the car looks much better with them off. That said..
Does anybody know what kind of bulb the light is? I've seen HID kits, but I don't want to go all out, I just want something..different (brighter).
Second, how hard is the installation of 07+ lower bumper fog lights? Simple screw in and wire it up, or full bumper replace/cutting/waste of time? I really like the look of these lights. I've tried searching around, didn't find much info.
Thanks alot

I wasn't aware we could add the o7/o8 fogs onto our o4/o5s...
I wish I had inner fogs like you folks, though. I think the look of two lights going off at once is ... SWEET!
Inner yellows and outter blues.

i like the look of the fogs next to the headlights too. trouble is, everyone flashes me thinking my high beams are on. pisses me off so i never use them (plus, the cops around here pull you over if your fogs are on when its not foggy. bastards).

really? i didnt think they were illegal, but are they?
once the bulbs i want get back in stock, i am going to replace my fogs with bright yellows, instead of those off yellow stocks.
o4Komodo its not that you can just add the 07+ fogs without modifying the existing setup, but its possible. but most use the accord fogs because they are cheaper. but it still involves cutting up the bumper a bit, fabricating some brackets or something, and then wiring them, and then putting a switch somewhere.
i like my fogs where they are at, so mine are staying up top. the lower ones tend to be more susceptible to damage from rocks.

there are a couple of different brands that i know of. i am going with the Hoen Endurance, but my size is currently out of stock, and you can only get them from Hoen.
There are also a Nokya Hyper Yellows which some people like, as well as Luminics Yellow. PIAA also makes some, but they are more $$.
you can get the last three from a variety of places.
I do know one thing, if they say "Ion", they wont look yellow from every angle. They will only look yellow from certain, and then change to blue, white, maybe something else, as you move around. I am going for the non-Ion type.
You should do a quick search for those brands either on here, or goolge, to see what fits your preference.
