04 base tl vs a few cars predictions???
i have a base 04 WDP tl completely stock except for CAI and TBS. I have a friend who is jackin with me sayin he will beat me in his stock bmw 528. and also a friend in a stock mustang non GT. any predictions on both of the races?

youll probably beat the Mustang but not sure about the BMW. I had good run with those two cars, i beat the Mustang GT stock lol really, Im a 04 6MT, and beat the BMW modded with just Intake, and custom exhaust 3 people in the car.

thats kind of the point there buddy! its kind of hard to smoke them while im in arizona and my car is in texas. so, why not ask and feel it out??

sweet, i live in a small town of about 4K. i love being the one that everyone like trying to fix their cars to beat mine. the sad thing is, is that i am almost stock and still only lost to a Manual G37S by about 6 ft.

I dunno about the BMW, itll definetely get the jump on you from a dig, and you'll pull away the Mustang easily.

okay cool. how effective is the torqshift in the AT. where you just slide over and you can bump when to shift?? how effective? better or worse for racing?

If you go from a roll start at about 40-50 in 2nd and you well get maximum pull.
If you go from a dig I would just let the transmission do the shifting.

haha! the funny thing is, is that theres this like 40 year old mexican dude in a stock civic who wants to race, and everyone is just like dude..... but im gonna shut him up when i get back!

^ I think the 535i will smoke our TL (auto and 6MT). The 535i auto does the 1/4 mile in 14.0 seconds. As you can see I'm not there yet (14.29 sec) lol

the mustang with the V6 if its the newer body style 05+ they are decently quick. A 5spd Manual V6 stang can be in the low 15's. Any older Mustang V6 is just plain slow and isn't worth racing or wasting the gas. I don't know what year the 528i is but you should beat any year or any transmission 528i. The older they are the slower they get!

A 535i will take you. A 545i or 550i will destroy you. A 2004-2005 530i you should beat. A 2006+ 530i will be a good race. A 528i (E39) you will destroy. A new 528i will be a good race, but you will win.
