I read a lot about TL leather seats not being durable...so black would show the damage (cracks) the most....plus it could get hot in the summer.

 

Not from what I've seen. Mine has lots of cracks but they're black so they don't show that much. The lighter colors I've seen attract dirt in the cracks..

 

i've got camel interior... goes perfect with the dark blue... stick with tan

 

ive so far changed the lower door panels... and the rubber seals from tan to black.. and also the base part by the seatbelt on the outer side of the seat...

can the leather armrests on the doors be taken off easily? i wanna change those to black.

 

love the black, but it looks so terrible when it isn't maintained properly. especially when it gets old and cracked!!! i went with quartz...

 

any of you camel interiors lovers wanna swap for black..let me know lol

 

Piece of cake... Pull the door panel, and 2-3 screws in each.
They're about $30 each. I think it was about $200 for all 4 armrests and a lightly used black leather center console pad.

I just bought a black on black 2006 TL and i love it . The interior and exterior is very sexy and with the tints it looks very good. My GF has a 2006 TSX white on the outside and the tan interior with the woodtrim and it looks nice. I think that the color choices do make a difference but i think her car looks nice the way it is, but mine feels a bit more dangerous. IDK Black interior all the way, not to mention iam looking to redo all my interior lights BLUE LED.
