i noticed 05s have 270 hp and the 07 NOT TYPE S have like 256, whats up with that, did they spare some speed on the regulars to make the S' faster?

No. Engines are the same. The standard for rating HP was adjusted, which prompted most manufacturers who had been using the old methodology to change their numbers. Most went down, a few (notably GM products) went up using the new system.

There is no difference in actual horsepower. Honda just changed the way in which horsepower is calculated on all their vehicles, Here is a quote from an aricle detailing the change.
"For 2006, it's rated at 258 horsepower, and while that may sound like a downgrade in power compared to last year's 270-hp rating, in reality it's the same exact engine. The numbers are different because this year, the Society of Automotive Engineers instituted new industry standards for measuring an engine's horsepower rating. While many 2006 vehicles' specs remain the same as last year's, some turned out higher, and others — like the TL — wound up being lower. "
