03 vs. 05

I was in my girlfriend's sisters 03 TL auto today...and it felt a lot more smoother than my 05 TL manual....feels more like it glides on the road than mine...and less bumpy? is this normal for people who came from 2nd gen to 3rd gen or is it just me?

maybe it's my awesome bridgestone EL42 tires? cause I can seriously feel and hear every bumpy road in my 05?

hers being auto and yours being 6MT, the suspension components are different. its also a completely different car, but i would be willing to bet that the 04 auto is a lot closer to your GF's sister's auto

the tires on the 04's are a lower profile tire, (more of a feel on the road) if you had a larger more granny tire you'll probably have a smoother ride..

A beter comparison would be an 05 auto. The 05 autos with navi have Michelins, which are a better tire than the Bridgestones.

Try to drive both in high speed (highway and country roads), you will feel the difference. IMO.

Happy New Year.

60 or 70 series tires instead of the 45 series we have. Bigger sidewall = generally softer ride.
