03 AV6 5AT vs 04 G35 Sedan AT

On my way home from work there is a infamous road that merges from 2 lanes to 1 lane after about a 1/4mile from the stop light. Naturally I always take the right lane as everyone lines up in the left lane since the right lane has to merge. Sure enough I roll up into the empty right lane and there is a 04 G35 Sedan 1st in line in the left lane. The guy who is driving it looks to be in his mid-40's or so. I really didn't think he was going to try to edge me out just because he didn't look like the type to do so. Well to get to the racing part I see the light in the other direction turn yellow so I was ready to go on green and I see the G35 start to roll forward and of course I do the same, the light goes green and we are both off! My reaction time was slightly better than his which was great for me because by the end of 1st gear his front bumper was at my rear bumper and then I just pulled away from him after that. By about 55MPH-60MPH I had a car length plus easy on him and then he just gave up knowing he had no chance. I already knew it would be a good race since I edged out the G35 Coupe auto i raced prevously but he really had no chance since I had a better reaction time. You could tell by the look on his face though he didn't expect an accord to edge him out haha. I loved every second of it!

Nice kill silver! Don't you have some mods that you are about to buy or install already?

thanks guys for the support!

erick - I think they were rated at 260HP but I don't know if that was SAE or not.

Yes, they were 260. I don't know about the SAE though. Silver your Accord is pretty quick man!

Btw, you are gonna LOVE the V3. I have the V1 and I noticed a difference. The V3 is far superior to the V1 in design. Idk how this particular pipe changes the sound, but the V1 made it a little deeper and more aggressive. Let us know your thoughts on the pipe!

I'm gonna have to get a new J soon. I feel like I am losing a lot of potential with the V1 as opposed to the V3 design. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the difference between these 2 pipes is > 0.1-0.15 in the 1/4 mile...

Rated at 260hp, but it's actually the same exact motor as the 280hp coupe of the same year. Under the SAE system, it was rated at 275hp.
