™£’?§Ά•ͺΊ–––––how Do I??

change my interior yellow-ish lights to a blue light similar to the 2 small blue lights on the 06 tl?

even white light would be good
but i want blue. r they LED lights you would get at like pep boys or something?

is the process consist of popping the yellowish bulbs out and the new ones in?

is it complicated or do i need a special tool to remove the light cover?

please advise.

any help would be great!

You can order the 9 LED lights from tec-toyz. Kit runs around 40 bucks, and they are the same blue as the 2 small courtesy lights. In the kit you get the front doors, front reading lights, back reading lights, console box light and glove box light. Just use a dull knife and pop the covers off. Hardest are the glove box and console box- they break easy. Took me all of 10-15 minutes to do mine.

The bulbs are all the correct size except for the console box and glove box. They are a little bit longer but they work. Use the knife on the end that comes down when you push on it. I put the knife on the side and gently twisted. Don't worry, they will unclick. Just be careful with the hinge end- I broke the right rear cover, but that was after playing with the bulb a couple of times. If the bulbs don't work one way, remove the bulb and turn it over. Some of the bulbs you might have to wiggle in the socket.

just email Brian at TecToyz the locations of the lights you want to replace and he will send you the price. All you have to do is pay and wait for your new lights in the mail. I have white 9-led throughout. At night they actually give the interior a blueish tint.

Old thread I know - but rather than create a new one does anyone know what size the glove box and center console bulbs are??

The LED I had in the glove box is dead and I want to replace it with a PIAA. Just not sure what it should be
